Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Metastore Private Limited ("Metastore", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through our website at metastore.in, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have. It is written to a GDPR standard and supplemented with region-specific terms for India (the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), the EU/UK, and California.

1. Who we are

Metastore Private Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our registered office is 103, 1st Floor, R.K. Complex, Kariagounder Street, Kaderpet, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India — 641601 (CIN: U74999TZ2016PTC027530). You can reach us at admin@metastore.in.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you provide. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company, and the content of your message. If you contact us by email, phone, or WhatsApp, we collect the information you share in that communication.
  • Technical data. Our hosting provider automatically records standard server-log data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and operational purposes.
  • Cookies and analytics. We use cookies necessary for the site to function, and — only with your consent — Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. We do not use advertising cookies or build advertising profiles. See our Cookie Policy for detail.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide the information or services you request;
  • To operate, secure, and improve our website;
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business, the performance of a contract, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Sharing and sub-processors

We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate the website, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms. These currently include our website host and form provider (Netlify), Google (Google Analytics, only where you have given consent), and the messaging platform used for our chat button (WhatsApp / Meta). We may also disclose information where required by law.

6. International transfers

We serve customers worldwide, and your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers. A Data Processing Agreement is available to business customers on request.

7. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact our Grievance Officer (below). You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

9. Region-specific rights

  • India (DPDP Act, 2023). You may access, correct, and erase your personal data and nominate another person to exercise your rights. Complaints may be raised with our Grievance Officer and, if unresolved, the Data Protection Board of India.
  • EU / UK (GDPR). You have the rights set out in Section 8 and may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" — neither of which we do.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

Our website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
